Pennsylvania OSHA Consultation will offer a free webinar on Formaldehyde in Hair Salons and Products.

Title:      Hair Salons – Formaldehyde in Hair Care Products
    Date:     Wednesday – March 9, 2022
    Time      10:30am – 11:30am

Overview: The webinar will be hosted by Asia Wofford, an Indiana University of Pennsylvania graduate student who also holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Morgan State University. This webinar was created to educate hair salon and beauty product sector personnel about the risks connected with formaldehyde-containing products, as well as the numerous control methods and resources available to identify and eliminate health hazards.

After finishing her master’s program in 2022, Asia Wofford will be a Graduate Safety Practitioner. Asia was a very active member in community service in the greater Baltimore City Area prior to her tenure at IUP. Her presentation’s purpose is to raise awareness about the health risks that hair salon stylists and students at cosmetology schools experience.

Please join us for this no obligation free webinar.  We encourage you to share this invitation with others you feel would benefit from this content.

Pre-registration not required.  Webinar room opens one hour prior to start time.
